How does the service work?

You don’t need a referral, but you do need to make an appointment. The service tries to see everyone as soon as possible, but at times you may have to wait for an appointment. If your situation is urgent, make sure that you let the secretary know when you call to make your appointment. There is a fee associated with the service, but it is calculated on a sliding scale with your income. If you are in financial difficulties, let the service know and they can make special arrangements where required.
